For an event at the Neulant van Exel workshop in 2022, we created a giant pair of Adidas ZX1000 sneakers with a built-in whirlpool. Concept by Heimat – realization with the team of Neulant van Exel.
The basic shape of the shoes we made in styrofoam, the surface was covered with Hornbach construction products – mosaic tiles, carpet, mash wire, plastic grid, isolation foam tubes, vinyl, silicone and more – imitating the look of the original sneaker materials.
